Your tax-deductible contribution to Friends of KC Animals directly affects the lives of the animals in need. Your donations to Friends’ General Fund, help pay for items such as microchip scanners, dog/cat toys and bedding, materials for upcoming events and more.
If you would rather, you may specify where you would like your donation to go by choosing from the following categories:
Heartworm Fund: Many dogs at shelters or found on the streets test positive for heartworm disease and need treatment before going to their forever homes. By contributing to our Heartworm Fund, you help us cure these animals so that they don't have to wait any longer to finally be well!
Surgery Fund: Animals who have been hit by cars or are injured from other accidents may need surgery. Fixing a broken leg, for example, requires extra resources. Your donation to this fund will help with surgeries and treatments required from such injuries.
Rescue and Pull Fees Fund: Various rescue groups around the country work with volunteers to transfer pets into no-kill groups where they will be safe. Your donation to this fund will help cover the cost for these compassionate groups to take animals from the city shelter with ease.
Cats Fund: By donating to the Cats Fund, your dollars will help pay for necessities like kitten and cat food, toys, kitty litter, bowls and more.
Spay / Neuter Fund: Spaying and neutering animals is essential to curbing the animal surplus problem in Kansas City. To encourage pet owners to make the responsible choice to spay and neuter their pets, Friends of KC Animals pays a portion of the cost for qualified families. By doing this, we reduce the number of unwanted offspring in the future. Your donation to this fund helps us spay and neuter more animals.
